First Proper Walks

The first proper walk was at Cressbrook Dale (2, 3) near Tideswell. We were accompanied by our neighbours Bernard and Heidi. This was Ruskin's first exposure to sheep - a cause of considerable puzzlement - which he was very keen to investigate.

We had to carry him part of the way since he was still too young for long walks. As you can see - he didn't appreciate this at all!

"Why can't I walk for myself?"

Next was a trip to the ruins of Errwood hall in the Goyt Valley between Buxton and Whaley Bridge. This was with Malcolm, Pauline, Aimee and Alex.
